Welcoming ADHD Scotland

We’re pleased to literally add “ADHD Scotland” to the map! ADHD Scotland a is not-for-profit organisation launched in 2026 to celebrate and support people with ADHD living in Scotland. Charitable status pending.

They now appear on our Local Groups page.

They are starting by offering two online groups whether you’re in a multi-storey in Maryhill, a cottage on a croft on Coll, or in the hoose in Inverness, log-on, learn, and lend a hand. No confirmed diagnosis is needed to participate.

For Parents of Children with Suspected and Diagnosed ADHD

Parenting children didn’t come with a handbook but parenting kids with ADHD is a whole other level of challenge – especially when we draw on the traditional parenting styles many of us were raised with.

This online peer support group is for parents of children with suspected / diagnosed ADHD across Scotland navigating the unique features of the Scottish education and health landscape. The goal of these sessions is to support each other through community. We’ll trade stories, knowledge, and experience, and seek to help everyone feel less alone in their parenting journey.

The group initially runs once a month on a Tuesday evening, and once a month on Wednesday lunchtimes.

Adult ADHD

Adulting is hard at the best of times. Harder still when you have a brain not entirely aligned to the demands of the modern world.

This Zoom-based online group is for adults living in Scotland with ADHD. The group is for learning from each other how to work with the struggles and strengths of our differently-wired brains. We’ll share tips and stories too of navigating access to assessments, diagnoses, care, education, employment, and financial support in the Scottish health, legal and welfare system.

The goal of these sessions is to support each other through community. We’ll trade stories, knowledge, and experience, and seek to help everyone feel less alone in their journey.

The group runs once a month on a Tuesday evening, and once a month on Wednesday lunchtimes.

For more details for both groups please see their Communities page.
