There are many areas of Scotland which do not currently have any kind of local ADHD support. If you live inside one of these areas, you may want to visit our Useful Links page to find out about other organisations who offer information and telephone help, if not local support. You might also want to think about Starting a Group yourself.

National Groups
The following groups are independently-run
This active group has over 7000 members.
We have two online peer support groups via Zoom. No confirmed diagnosis is needed to participate.
For parents of children with suspected / diagnosed ADHD across Scotland navigating the unique features of the Scottish education and health landscape. The goal of these sessions is to support each other through community. We’ll trade stories, knowledge, and experience, and seek to help everyone feel less alone in their parenting journey.
For adults living in Scotland with ADHD. The group is for learning from each other how to work with the struggles and strengths of our differently-wired brains. We’ll share tips and stories too of navigating access to assessments, diagnoses, care, education, employment, and financial support in the Scottish health, legal and welfare system.
We run a number of UK-wide online monthly peer support groups, none of which require a formal diagnosis. For ADHDers (a “drop in”, although everyone tends to arrive at the starting time); for parents of those with ADHD (both children and adults); for partners of those with ADHD; and specific topic-based discussions.
Our sessions are free. To get the joining details, please subscribe to our mailing list, via our home page.
