UK wide ADHD charity based in Brighton, offering online peer support groups for parents, parents and ADHDers themselves, as well as occasional educational seminars

This is a UK-wide organisation aiming aim to raise standards in the understanding and management of child mental health issues, made up of  a diverse group of clinicians, practitioners and world-leading child mental health researchers, working across an array of child and adolescent mental health domains.

Scottish charity providing direct help and support to parents of children with all kinds of learning difficulties, including ADHD, and services for professionals

Whole of Scotland organisation which offers free legal support particularly in terms of fighting for education support for young people, and disability discrimination.

UK national organisation offering free confidential online and telephone support to any adult worried about the emotional problems, behaviour or mental health of a child or young person up to 25 years old.

Offers excellent written explainers (FAQs) as well as an online community.

US long-established charity with plenty of courses and other resources for adult ADHD. There is a small monthly charge, but the first 30 days are free. They do send out a lot of emails so if you suffer from email overwhelm you may want to filter those away from your main inbox!

US-based Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) was founded in 1987 in response to the frustration and sense of isolation experienced by parents and their children with ADHD. They are still going today and have a website with plenty of resources, and they also organise well-attended conferences.
