ADHD Through the Lifespan – catchup now!

Throughout 2026 and 2027 we’re running a series of live online educational events about ADHD.

For our first event, Bill Colley, Chair of the Scottish ADHD Coalition, delivered an honest overview about the current challenges that ADHD presents, particularly in Scotland. Going over the whole childhood, adolescent and adulthood journey, this goes beyond the usual checklist of symptoms, and includes interactions with the education system and families (where present) and transitions between these spaces.

We’ve also got an explanation of why the rate of diagnosis is currently increasing – a sneak peek is that it’s not just better diagnostic criteria.

We hope that if you’re a parent struggling to understand your child’s behaviour, an adult wondering why you’ve never quite fit the mould, or an educator frustrated by a student who seems to have it all but still can’t get it together, this session will give you insights.

To find out when the next session is scheduled, and to participate in the live Q&A, sign up for our mailing list.

The Scottish ADHD Coalition brings together voluntary organisations providing support to adults and children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and their parents, carers and families. You can sign up to our mailing list hereread our FAQs, or find your nearest support group.
